Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The turquiose pup picked her way up the slope of Ice Mountain. Mom or Dad didn't know she was away from home, but she wasn't going far so they wouldn't be too mad, right? She sniffed the air with her navvy blue nose, short tail twitching. Birds? Didn't birds mean food? And she was hungry... But upon closer inspection, she realized that there were baby birds there, too. She wouldn't eat any baby things, or their parents. That would be mean. She would hate if someone ate her Mom or Dad or brothers and sister..

"Hi there!" Ume called, jumping from rock to rock as she got closer to the birds. The young girl was large for her age, large for a femme even and was built much like a male.
