I agree that anyone should be removed from any list that they do not want to be on, period! I don't know why he sent the emails he sent, why he won't delete you, nor why he won't use this message board, and yes, that is inappropriate. I would prefer personal email to a message board if the exchange is personal as I consider this one. I did look and could not find your email address at the "Contact a Retiree" link or I would have discussed this via email with you. I am just trying to answer all the questions above. There is at least one retiree group that I am not allowed to join and that should answer your question there.
I come to this message board in an attempt to keep informed, to check on friends, to hear other views, and to be nosy. Unfortunately too many of us are gun shy. I and I believe some others, don't mind criticism but prefer it not go global and also would like to keep to a minimum the number of people I embarrass myself in front of. Not everyone is friendly. Just look at what they have done to Rep. Weiner!
I asked Sonny to put me on his email list because I saw some things he has reported on that I would not have seen otherwise. Someone forwarded them to me but has apparently stopped. I like to think that I can ferret out the BS in what I read and therefore welcome all the information I can get concerning the Pension that affects me and so many good people. (The wording is intentional; it excludes me from good people)
Whew, that said, I wish more folks felt comfortable with this forum. We are not going to learn much if we criticize and run people off. Maybe that happened to him.
