Mara's bottom lip finds its way between her teeth as she watches the boy sit defiantly in the same place. She considers for a moment just nudging him off the turrent, which of course would result in murder and a serious grounding. It's not really in her nature to be so brashly violent, so she immediately tries to calculate another alternative to remove him from her perch. She could snatch him off in a bear hug and land him on the stone floor of the battlement; she is positive she is quick enough to fill the empty seat before he can rise again. But she eyes the creepy green dog warily, concluding that wrestling the creature might result in the spoil of her hard-earned cookies.

Bodie apparently does not share her aversion to the boy's familiar and is circling to make chipper introducations. The hiss of warning from her fairy does little more then make the gryffon's head cock questioningly. "Dog! New! Play?"

Mara shakes her head vehemently, the thick tangle of hair whipping across her stern face. "No. Bad gryffon," she chastizes, motioning for the beastie to return to side. This boy is causing problems and it is clearly no time to engage in cheerful games with his strange animal that looks like he just got dipped in dirty swamp water. She can't afford to just let herself be walked over, she must keep a level head if she's to get what she wants here. Bodie's queer face morphs through surprise, to alarm, and then settles in a wide-eyed look of apprehension. "Bad?" the gryffon repeats incredulously, raising a front paw as if to express a wish not to be judged so harshly. But Mara won't be so easily swayed, she is used to this love-me-I'm-cute routine."Bad." Bodie's fluffy ears droop sadly.

"Now," Mara says dismissively, addressing the boy once again, "while that may be true, YOUR name is not on it either. Which means I have as much right to that spot as you do. But SINCE you are a silly stubborn boy, there's really only one thing to do." She then promptly starts to clammer up the stone edge and is upon Tristan before he has time to respond, forcibly squeezing her tiny felinesque body into the space between his own and the left turrent wall. There is little enough room for one fairy child, much less two and in the end, they are mashed shoulder to shoulder with Mara essentially in the Prince of Shaman's lap. She snugs herself more securely into the crevice, giving Tristan as much elbow as she can.

Amber eyes stare squarely into green as she dares him to shove her. "There. Now we can share or you can move somewhere else," she sniffs, quite pleased with her irrefutable logic.
