At today's board of trustee's meeting we learned that the pension office staff will be working over the next few months developing policies and procedures to allow eligible retirees to apply for the remarriage provision. Because these policies and procedures will have to be reviewed, and finally approved by the board of trustees don't expect any final product until at least September 1st. As you already know the law does not take effect until October 1st.
