Welcome to the wonderful world of Tempest, If you could fly you'd see the most amazing of places in the world, a large ring of mountains surrounded by vast forests and meadows. Each section of mountain range looks to hold a certain element to it, to the east sits the Volcanic landscape of the fire devine Pele covered in slabs of cooled magma growing more tropical vegitation further away from the main volcano, in the center of this range is the home of Pele the largest of the volcanos Kauai. To the west is the icey lands of Kane the devine of ice and snow, here the forests seem to always be blanketed in snow, the higher up in these mountain ranges the colder and more snow you'll see, low lying flat lands spread out from the base spruce and pine grow in vast quantities here but the higher you go the thinner the tree's become. To the north lays the lands of the earth devine Laka, a thickly forested mountain range with every possible type of plant life one could think of ever being availible on earth. It does not matter how high up you go, vegitation in this land seems to never die out or fade away, the seasons seem to never touch this place keeping it humid and temperate like a rainforest. To the south is the air domain of Lono, this desert range seems more like sand dunes than mountains but they are solid and with the help of Laka vegitation grows here to support the community. It's hot and airid for the most part with cool springs and oasis's dotting the landscape. In the center of this ring of mountains stands the central mountain. Tallest of all the mountains in this landscape, this is the home of the devines. There are four different sides to accomidate each devine to the fullest extent. Most mortals do not travel to this mountain unless there is dire need of their devine or if they wish to obtain some type of favore from their devine. This is the world of Tempest, do you dare to join the masses? |
