Having birded Wylie Rd, many times I was most pleasantly surprised when on a 'quick' drive through on our way to the city on Sunday to find a cow/calf pair with the cow on the road and her calf behind the fence. She loped along as we waited well back till she found a good spot to cross back to the field. They then headed west into deeper cover. Nice to know that moose are that far south.
