The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
Beauty in the eyes of the beholder

Chimeras listened as Hollowpoint mentioned hearing about El Barroco but never having met him. He had nothing bad to say about her father though. So the guy really had been a great creature then? It seemed like it more and more and she felt saddened that she'd never get to know him. Why had the stallion left so suddenly in death? Mother said it had just been his time but he couldn't have waited for her arrival? If only to have just known him for a little while. That would have been nice. Instead, she was growing up as the girl without a father. It wasn't the first time but she felt like the only one it was happening to. Which wasn't true most likely but try telling Chimeras that.

I guess mother says he's just not suffering now. Still; I'd have liked knowing him for a little while. It isn't fair. She was whining a little but she didn't really seem to care. She missed a father she'd never met and would have liked not having to have been so different. Being a girl without a dad made room for others to pick fun at you. Not that she had been made fun of, being lucky so far anyway.

Meanwhile, Belita listened as her daughter spoke and then, took in his words toward her. He was glad that she was here. So was she of course, she'd state that much before. It isn't too much different than the Dunes. In fact, still the desert I'd say. Chuckling a little, the dunskin nickered softly. I've never really minded the desert. It was where I grew up. I'm the daughter of Breathless and Damocles. She stated softly, remembering her father. Where was he now? What had happened to him and was he even still breathing life on this Earth? Belita didn't know but she definitely mised her father.

I would say I'm pretty used to the chilly weather of the evenings. So that's not a problem. Laughing, the sound was soft from her lips. I can't say I've ever been to this part of the island though. She looked around, really it wasn't too much different. Well, minus all those dunes. There were more cacti and desert flora too. But it was still Salem, the island that she'd grown up on. It was truly close to home as she could get now. Yes, she was quite content on being here to be honest. So, who are the other mares and will I be able to get along with them? Pausing, a nervous little laugh is given. I think what I mean to ask is; are they pleasant enough? She wanted to get to know the other mares and figured he'd be the first to ask of what they might be like.

Chimeras could have rolled her eyes at her mother's nervous reactions but she didn't. Thankfully so as she probably would have been reprimanded. She did have a question though. Are there any other youngsters around Hollowpoint? She wasn't sure she was ready to consider him more like a father. This was new to her and they barely knew one another yet. In time perhaps but then, one can never tell for real.
