Nine smiled kindly to the king, moving forward at a smooth, flowing pace. She looks to Arthur’s son, and gives him a kind, gentle smile to him as well. She had a son, her Gavin. One of Mallos’s children. Nine loved her son with all of her heart; she had decided that she would make up for the unfortunate mothering choices she had made in her previous life in this new, mysterious life. Gavin was very dear to her. He was something different, something she had never seen before. He was hers; she didn’t have to share him with anyone. She missed his sandy hair and bright, youthful eyes.

The pale girl put her hand on the top of the chair while she walked to its front, eyeing it carefully. This new life carried several surprises with it and the king’s ornate furniture was another one of those surprises. The chair itself was something beautiful, something that she admired instantly. Her pale eyes lit up as she glanced back to Arthur before sitting down cautiously. She looked around the room, taking in all of the details, the magnificence of it all. Practices from her old life had caused her to not be very materialistic. All of these things were not things that Nine wished for, she knew she didn’t need them to survive. All she needed was some food, water, and a place to hide from a storm. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

Nine cleared her throat and folded her white hands in her lap. She breathed in before beginning her request, hoping her past as a diplomat did not fail her now. ”Well, my name is Nine, and I have come to you with a request to become a teacher at the Academy.” Her voice was very careful and smooth. She kept herself at ease, remembering back to the days of kingdom speeches. She continued to smile while she spoke. It was a dainty smile, not cheesy but not too dull. ”I think that I would make a worthy teacher as I have some experience in the field. I am most interested in teaching politics due to my knowledge in that specific area.” She stopped, awaiting for whatever reply would be to come. She wasn’t really sure if she should tell him where her expertise came from. She didn’t know how a king would react to her saying ‘yo, I’m a reincarnated pony, that’s how I know this’ because she knew that in her former life, if one of the horses had come to her and claimed they were a fairy, she probably would have had their mental status evaluated.
