Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Silvia panted as she hauled herself up yet another crack in the mountain. Her silvery tail brushed snow away from her feet, and she, at last, collapsed on the top of the mountain. She sighed, wondering why she had done it in the first place. She looked down, transfixed, as the dawn sky rose majestically up. The sky was striped in gold, lavender, and a soft pink colour, like the insides of her large ears. She blinked, taking in the beauty of it all. A faint, warm scent caught her nose, and before long she was tracking a lone squirrel. Its fluffy hazel tail flicked tauntingly at her as it ran. She crouched, and pounced, breaking its neck neatly before peeling away the fur.
She finished the remains, and shoved the rest under a pile of snow. She felt satisfied, after being hungry for so long. Her ears flicked, and she bent down to clean the blood off of her pelt. It was as white and as soft as a fawn’s belly, speckled with a few small grey dots for the winter. Silvia’s blue eyes gleamed, and she whished for something to happen. She was very bored. She thought she could smell something, and crouched behind a bush to see what it was.
