WELCOME, To the great Race Place LOCATED only an Hour out of major cities in southern California, this quaint horse town is an icon in all its own, The town evolved around the Track, creating its own little world of Racing. In the Past many horses have been top competitors across the nation, and more people flocked to the town, putting it on the map. All was on the up and up until the track hit a climax and began to decline. Profits fell and the number of tourists decreased. SOMEONE must have really loved Dead Heat. It was chosen as the home track for a new television series and once again our beloved Dead Heat was back in the public eye. The track never looked better with a new flow of money coming in. The tourists have returned and the top owners, trainers, and jockeys are all pushing to get their faces and names on national television. Camera crews roam the backstretch looking for horses to profile. The more famous on the track have already gotten their names known. It's your turn to get out there and get your fifteen minutes of fame...or maybe a few minutes more. DEAD HEAT was established in 2006, It is a realistic human and horse RPG, and there isn't another one quite like it. Players train, raise, breed and race their own Thoroughbred, Quarter horse, Arabian, and Standardbred Racing Stock. Players play horses that want to be the best, are quick to temper, love their owners, or even don't like to run.
