The Ole Man
IP: 166.205.8.252

I'm lonely tonight for the ole man,
His voice I love to hear;
As the west wind wraps around me,
I pretend it's a hug from my dear.
There's only a road between us,
The town on the rise shows bright,
I'm lonely, lonely, lonely,
For my ole man tonight.

I'm lonely tonight for the ole man;
First sight of him is always new.
Just what that ole man does to me
I never shall un-do.
He stole my heart and held it;
Then gave it back to me.
But every time he leaves the place,
It follows him, you see.
My heart goes with him from ranch to ranch,
Too many miles away.
Someday the ole man will come back;
And here is where he'll stay.

If you ever see the ole man,
And hear his voice so strong and low;
You sure should stop and talk to him,
And tell him that you know;
That his ole gal is missin' him,
And when you have to go;
Before you leave please tell him?
His ole gal loves him so.
