mares vs. stallions {a unique, yet simple horse rpg}

Welcome to Mustang Plains; a remote island somewhere in the Pacific that has seemed to escape the hands of man. It is said the only significant thing inhabiting the island is a very feral breed of horse. They roam about making their lives as only horses can. But, there is something different about this island… a kind of magic that only exists there. Suddenly horses have been granted the ability to talk. It is unclear how this came about, the only thing that is clear is once horses began to arrive on the island, not only were they able to feel scared, loved, or lonely but they were able to express those feelings in a way they never thought possible. But, with this power came those hungry to get even more.

The stallions quickly became all too aware of their life. Following the mares about, letting them decide their every move. They were sick of it. They wanted a change. They began forming alliances between them and soon those alliances turned into an all-out rebellion. No longer would they be subjected to this mediocre life. For the first time they would be in charge.

The mares were not quick to back down. They fought for their position. Claiming it was unnatural for a stallion to boss the mare around. The battle could not be won. Every fought drew them closer to a war. So finally they reached an agreement. The stallions who wanted change would take the east. There they would run their own herds the way they wanted. The mares would then take the west and do things the old fashioned way. Now, though, kingdoms are sprouting between them. Does this mean armies are being built? That would only mean that the hate between the East and West was much more than tradition… it could only be power. Which side will you choose?
