as you should all know, shaman will be celebrating its 3rd birthday on march 14th. for those who weren't around last year, every year on our birthday we hold the greatest event on the shaman calendar - the omniety competition. omniety is a writing contest consisting of two rounds, the overall winner of which receives a unique and outstanding prize as well as being crowned a champion.
furthermore, one of the key elements of the omniety competition is the unique ability of round two participants to take on the role and magic of a deity. for a limited period, your character could have unlimited power.
ordinarily, sign-ups would open around now and the contest itself would start on the 14th. however, many of our members are college students, and in the UK march is a horrific time for college deadlines. unfortunately may is when the american members have their exams, so we're going to try and fit the omniety into april.
sign-ups will open later this month (probably around the 25th) and round one will begin on april 1st. more information will be posted when sign-ups open.
