Those of us still alive and yet untainted by the sickness had no choice but to flee, or stay and risk death against an enemy that we could not see or smell, and could not fight against. I fled for my life. What other option did I have? Yet even as I traveled those daunting miles across the endless oceans to reach Eltica, the land where the rest of my kind would find respite from the plague, I could not forget what I had seen. There had to be an explanation for the savage disease that brought our great race to its knees, and I wasn't going to stop searching until I figured it out. And then... I would have revenge. In the meantime, I suppose these humans can keep me entertained.
