Writings On the Wall

She stood there near him, her eyes never faltering. He stated of her telling him about herself and she sighed quietly. What should she say? What could she possibly say that he hadn't all ready figured out thanks to The Dragon? At least he hadn't ruined things here for her with the banishment he'd given her. Hollowpoint did not shun her like Dragon had. She pitied the stallion but then, she had been somewhat of a wandering soul. No more though, this was home and it wasn't changing ever if she had her way about it. Shaking her head though, she returned to the present and cleared her throat.

I am not sure Hollowpoint...what to say. I was Dragon's mare and then I wasn't. This has been my home for as long as I can now remember and it isn't changing I hope. You've welcomed me here though and you shall not regret that decision. I won't prove you wrong in this but I will prove him wrong in this being a bad decision on your part. It is not. I'm no longer a wandering soul...I don't wish to be.

Pausing there, she sighed quietly and shifted her weight. Pointed ears flicked back and forth as rich gaze of brown studied the stallion. She kept her watch of him, pondering over various things. What was this life now? What was this she now had burning within her? Compassion for an almost stranger? He'd allowed her to call this home and she was ever grateful. What about yourself Hollowpoint? Tell me about yourself. For she wanted to know; to understand him and know him better. This was her leader after all and shouldn't she understand more about him as he wanted to about herself? She believed so but then, it was up to him to tell her now.
