Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The mountain seemed so tranquil at the moment, but it still held a dangerous edge to it. Storm could only imagine how different the environment would be during the winter; how perilous it would be to attempt to climb the already treacherous terrain during the winter. It was a struggle for the wolfess not to lie back and just let her thoughts take her somewhere else entirely, it was so easy for her to get lost in her thoughts and imagination, but she had to stay focused on reality; for a little while at least. Dual toned eyes scanned the terrain curiously, it didn�t come as a surprise that there were seemingly no other creatures wandering the area.

Silver ears twitched at the sound of an all too familiar voice, she had not been expected contact, much less contact from anyone that she knew. Storm�s facial expression lit up, a bright smile tugging at her lips. Of all the people that she could have run into today she had not been expected to see Elk, and the blue brute�s presence was most welcome. The rare meetings between the two of them gave the wolfess something to look forward to, and when they were reunited it made her heart soar. �Elk!� she called back, closing the gap between herself and the brute, her smile slowly widening into a broad grin and her tail waving happily.

�Hello stranger,� she greeted her voice bright and cheerful, �It�s been a long time Elk, too long, I haven�t seen you for what seems like a lifetime. I trust you�ve been keeping well?� Storm inquired with a genuinely curious tone. She had missed the brute dearly, catching up with him would be a good thing for her, talking to her friend would keep her occupied and focused for a while.
