Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The white wolf's body shuddered as the cold bit at her skin through her white fur. Today was colder than usual, and the journey to her den just that bit more dangerous. She knew she would have to stop and rest soon, if she planned to live until tomorrow but there was nowhere to stop. She could easily lie down in the snow, but then again it would be just as easy to jump off the mountain. "Now do you feel sorry for yourself?" A familiar voice snarled in her ear and sent shudders down her spine.
"No." she muttered in return, her voice quivering slightly, making the lie horribly obvious. She hadn't gotten used to the cold up here yet. Her mate, however was used to it. It didn't bother him at all. Shiroi's blue eyes closed half way as she sighed, she was about to stop completely until she felt something nip her ear, this time not the cold. Kurais sharp fangs nipped Shirois ear, hard enough to hurt but not to draw blood. He knew they were close to the den and unlike his mate. He for one knew where they were and was two used to the bitter cold. "Almost there." he chuckled, nudging the female wolf forward. Their den was already in sight, plain as day the grey rocks were.
As they got to the den he crawled in, Shiroi scampering in after him, pressing her body to his for warmth. There the pair slept until morning where the sun shone high in in the sky. Shiroi awoke, as usual without her mate. 'Where was he this time' she muttered as she stepped outside before letting out a low growl. The area around the den smelled different. Like another animal had been there, to close for comfort. "Koko!"
