Kyuui greets him, and soon the two are snuggled up. Dragon listens to her words, and pressed his muzzle to her ear, murmuring. "Your here now, but you won't leave again, will you? I've been searching for you all this time, Kyuui. The Ridge would still be mine if I had known you were coming! No one hurt you, did they? This stallion here didn't do anything to you, did he? But it doesn't matter anymore, you're here now. Just stay with me, please." The blind mare isn't done, and her native tongue slips out. Dragon's own is urged, but he snuggles closer to her, not sure if it was rain that poured down his cheeks or not. The black stallion finally lets lose words for Kyuui and Kyuui only. Nikola would not understand these, would he? Though Dragon guessed Kyuui's words held more meaning, he still let the words loose. "Nous sommes pour l'autre, Kyuui, et personne ne peut changer cela."

But then, the special moment is broken.

Dragon frees himself from Kyuui, and his temper flares by the end of Nikola's words. "Dragon, if things do not work out with the other stallion, you will be the first I contact if you have not found another home by then." The black stallion made sure that he was blocking Kyuui from Nikola, and flicked his ears back. "I thought you had offered me the Beta position first. Although it's almost been a full season and I still haven't said anything, you're going to give up on your own word." His voice rose. "I have waited for my Kyuui to come back for many seasons, but I haven't given up on her. And yet you have given another stallion the chance before me to become Beta." Dragon ears flicked back up, and he turned back to Kyuui. "Come, my love, we should not be here any longer." Dragon swallowed nervously. "Unless you would rather stay?" He wondered if Kyuui would like to stay in the Ridge a bit longer, and frolic a bit in her old home.

Let out a silence sigh, Dragon waited for Kyuui's response.
