Bright above them he felt the rays of Apollo beating down on his hide, he tossed his head up high, his soft blue eyes shining brightly as he looked at his daughter. Paradise was their new home, and he loved being back here, loved that he would be able to live here with his family. He wanted more children, yes, but then again, he wasn’t about to push any of his mares for more foals. He wasn’t like that. So for now, he was very content with his family, his girls, and everything about his life here in paradise. The sand was soft and giving all around them and he grinned, loving the feeling of being in the hot sand, and so he turned to his daughter, reaching out to nip at her, not touching her, but only nipping the air near her body.
She bounded in the sand next to him, and he grinned, reaching out to gently nip at his daughter’s side, before turning quickly, so quickly that the sand flew from beneath his hooves as he spun in his circle, squealing gently, he grinned at the palomino girl, all legs, but she was beginning to grow up, so fast, too fast for him to enjoy, but she was his darling little girl, and he loved her so. She was a shining star in his eyes, because of the way that she made him feel, she was his little princess and he loved her dearly. He felt her teeth graze his hip as he turned, his eyes going wide as he stopped, his legs splayed and in reality, he looked like an over-grown colt, all legs and no sense in how to use them. His mouth gaped open as he stared in shock at her, acting appaled that she would nip her own father!
His blonde-gold forelock fell into his line of view, and so with a loud, over exaggerated sigh, he blew at the hair, tossing his skull as he looked down at his child. He laughed, a booming sound as he looked at the irritated look upon her face, yes, he knew he was embarrassing and he loved it. He reached forward, his lips closing around a little tuff of her hair and tugging gently. He grinned as he butted her neck with his forehead. He pulled himself upright, smiling as he looked about the Paradise. He was more than happy to be here, and with his family, that was even better. He loved it.
He wondered absentmindedly where Amelia was. It was nice playing with Lexi, but it would be better if the three of them were together. So he waited, unsure what to think really, just hoping that Amelia would find them and join them in their play. It was more than fun, and it would be even more fun with her playing as well.
The palm trees swayed around them, the sun beating down on the off white sand, and it was a beautiful day, really was. He glanced to the side, watching Lexi with a grin on his face. He hoped that they would stay for a while, because that was the way that he wanted them to be, and he couldn’t wait for things to get better than they were now.
