The little bay mare glanced over her shoulder. The two were close and Pierce felt a pang of hatred. She pawed at the water viciously then returned to walking slowly along the beach. Nobody had ever wanted her due to her lack of a.. healthy body, except of course hormonal bachelors who she learned to drive off with a fierce attitude and sharp tongue. She was 5 years already, still young but she had stayed homeless and childless for 4 of those years. Anyone she came into contact with never dared try and tame her. Perhaps that was the reason she was like this. Not another soul had cared enough. Being this way for this long had grown to be apart of her now and she knew if someone did try to tame her, they'd have to be pretty damn smart. The mare turned her ears back to listen for someone following her. Sure enough she heard Nikola trot up.
Pierce stopped but didn't face him. She could sense the annoyance. Oh, had she upset his lover? The mare's emotions coursed through her like venom. In no way way she evil, or crazy, just.. very hot tempered. He came up on her left side and she listened. She was kind enough not to interrupt but she definitely had something to say about it. Pierce turned her head and let her eyes bore into him. "Are you so sure you'd like to get to know me?" she paused letting him have a moment to think about it. "Or is this to make Larka feel better about herself?" If only he knew, it wasn't as personal as he probably thought it was. She stood waiting, almost shaking because her body was not equipped to handle her personality. She really wondered though, would this kind and calm one dare to tame her?
