Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Silverstream was trekking up the mountain like her life depended on it, which it kind of did. She wanted a new life, and this seemed like the best way to start. She had already had an encounter with Black Rain ((look at thread in "Ice Hideout")), and was continuing up the mountain. She smelled another wolf nearby. She looked around and her eyes almost missed the different colors between the covering of what seemed to be a probable den. She stopped moving and closed her eyes, lifting her nose up in the air.

Silverstream took a few good sniffs and mentally decided the den was where the scent was coming from. She took a breath. *'I know you're in there, and I don't plan to harm you or take your den. My name's Silverstream and I'm new here, but that doesn't mean I can't take care of myself. If you come out, I would like to meet you. If not, I'll be on my way. What'll it be?'* she finished, feeling bold.
