. ye olde fable .
airborne used to be a fairytale. a wish that flew on the wings of shooting stars. a myth of a magical land that granted complete and utter freedom to the outcasts, the unknowns and the gifted. turn your head towards the sun and travel towards it, cross the large river and the forbidden forest. the trek is long and hard, constantly traveling up towards the skies and never down to earth. there is a point, where you can almost touch the skies as the mountain drops away steeply. with the clouds welcoming you, a land stretches as far as the eye can see, banking up into more mountains on the far horizon. shadows break across the brightening skies, outstretched wings silhouetted in the sunlight; pegasuses. far below, the clang of horn upon horn arise in the silence, playful youngesters dancing, playfully sparring unicorns. and throughout the mythical land, populations of the non-gifted strive and survive. this is airborne, a dream that has become reality. a new day, a new dawn... a new life.
