Winter
From a summers thread

"Speech."

Winter’s ears flicked back and forth as the rain seeped down through her coat and sliding down her nose to plop and the hard earth. Her eyes narrowed at the sound of approaching hoof beats and glancing off the deep colored stallion making his appearance. Oh how lovely of him to show up. She masked her features shielding her inward sigh of appreciation of his black and white coat set over the muscle… sigh. He is still just as handsome as when we first met. Her frosty blue eyes glared at Mafi as he neared. Mayhaps he has a good reason winter dear. Mayhaps he was whisked away with the wind on some important errand, what one that lasted seasons? Winter ground her teeth as her head pounded with the battle of her heart and brain. The stallions nearness sent shivers down her spin and shoulders, were they from disgust or pleasure? Not of her own accord her touch hungry body leaned into him for the briefest of moments, maybe it didnt even happen at all. The golden mares glare snapped at his words causing a menacing smirk to come crashing to her lips and sparking a bright flame to dance behind her eyes.

“Do not try and lay claim to me you vile bastard."

She snorted and pulled her soft lips back snapping out with every intention of grabbing a mouthful of Mafioso’s nose. Her radars flew back to her cranium as she swung her rump around to bump him in warning. Despite her attraction to her first stallion the golden mare had heartbreak and anger eating away at a once golden, bouncy, perky heart.

“You left me!”

She lunged at him the sky belting out her anger with flashes of lightning and thunder punctuating her moves her coat darkening with the down pour. Winter wanted to hate him, she wanted to hate and maim that totally, in excusably good looking deserter!

“You left me when I was new and young Mafioso. Do you have any idea what that is like?!”

Winter moved away from him slipping into the shadows of the branches letting her anger run like the rivulets of water of her hide. Icy blue orbs stared at him through the rain, tangles of her cream mane were plastered against her forehead and neck. What should he care anyway you silly silly mare, you were vulnerable and ripe so he plucked you from the commons like any mare he would have caught roaming. She blinked back the tears that threatened to matt her long lashes.

“I was yours and you just left me there.”
