Acorn
Acorn was confused. What she got out of Fayte's answer was interesting. It sounded like Bondurant, whoever he was, didn't have time to chat with Fayte. That sounded familiar to Acorn and again she was sucked back into her mind to think. Another frown played on her lips, as she realized something. "Well you can't trust stallions at all! They bring you to their home and you never see them again unless they feel the need." Acorn slumped. So that was why she had been tense and awkward and weird around Ivan. She barely knew him and yet she had placed her full trust in him.
The chestnut mare barely heard Fayte's question. What would she do now? She had to look over Eliska, but she didn't want to be by Ivan. Since she didn't feel like being the one to drive the awkwardness away, Ivan would have to. She would love to see him actually work. "The Hills," she heard herself murmur, "I come from the Hills."She felt miserable. She wanted to forgive Ivan but at the same time she wished he would shape up, even if it was just this once. "I'm sorry, I have to go. I'll come visit you another time."
Acorn left the clearing, plodding home.
