Let there be fire.

Beschea

His lip lifts.

For a moment, he contemplates charging forwards once more, driving the smutty colored stallion from his shores and, perhaps, for kicks, he would linger on the edges of his own home, picking off mares that strayed too far from the meat of the herd.

Badr, you’ve grown bitter in your not-so-old age.

Snorting at the other stallion’s words, the flaxen maned stallion leaves his ears pushed back, his neck arching aggressively over his throat. In a world where it was kill or be killed, Badr had learned a healthy distrust of all stallions- perhaps even his own sons would rise suspicion in his gut, and perhaps he would be the sort to whole heartedly commit filicide. Alas, he has no sons for whom he should murder. What a dark sentiment, and somehow, wholly true. Thankfully, the stallion has not been pushed to such an extent just yet.

Before the flaxen liver chestnut can respond to the other male’s words, there is a bullet coming off the sands, heading towards them and inciting a reaction in Badr. Leaning to the side, he prepares for impact, but instead she skids to a stop next to the other stallion, and Badr doesn’t even care. Instead he gives the trespasser the answer he must have wanted. “Pick one, then leave.” Dark eyes burning into his face, the blonde haired stallion flicks his pale tail across his haunches, he finishes his statement. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure she makes her way back home safe.

Badr was not a woman abuser. While certin emotions evaded him, and perhaps there was a darker monster that had settled in his belly a long time ago, he did not begrudge the fairer gender. So for now, he leans back a bit, eyes narrowed and nostrils flared as he prepares for some sort of retaliation- as if the other stallion didn’t want to wait for Badr to send the woman of his choice home later.
