Never has she been put in such a situation before, which is the only reason she is freaking out. But don't all horses freak if they can not see and sense their life is in danger?
Alright Ali, she told herself, trying to draw in a small breath, but it was not easy without sucking in some of the rain. Just take a step, she urged herself again. The golden mare raised a hoof carefully, and moved it forward. Nothing happened. This time she found her breath finally and tossed her head to free her sight of her soaked forelock. Very good, now try another. With a bit of confidence, she went to take another step. If you think something isn't going to happen again, then your wrong. Unfortunate for Ali, her hoof caught on a few rocks and she almost fell forward into the ground. Lucky for her she caught herself. Let's just wait here, she happily agrees now. Though standing still wasn't going to be an option when she soon heard the approaching hoofs, and the familiar scent of Nikola. She let a welcoming nicker escape her throat, as he touched her shoulder. "I can not see the path..." Her face turned to him, but the stinging rain was pelting her eyes almost and he seemed to be a blur. She turned her face forward again, at least hoping she was still facing the path. "I'm afraid Nikola." she admitted, her voice shaky, as a shiver ran up her spine again. | |
