Before she could blink, Ava had been whisked away in the night to Salem. The hot, boring, bleak desert type landscape was definitely not her thing. She missed the cool and crisp mountain air of the Inlet. She missed her tall dark and handsome knight, Mafi. He would be back to take her back home but she knew he was away for now. Johnny, the theif who had stolen her, wasn't interested in her and probably wouldn't care if she slipped off. She'd done it once already for a quick meet up with Mafi to breed. Now she was back again, and lonely. Word was, was that her other suitor, Encantador, lived on this island also. The tri colored mare set off in search of her friend. Her sure-footedness brought her swiftly to his lands. The sun shone down on the orange sand and heated her thick coat up immediately. The heat made her uncomfortable and she paced on the beach.
"Encantador," she called out to him. She had no idea who else roamed here but if she were a friend to the dun stallion, she hoped nobody would harm her. Besides, if any harm did come to her and her unborn foal, the guilty would have hell to pay to Mafioso. Her blue eyes scanned the horizon constantly. She hoped she wouldn't have to stand here in the heat all day waiting on him.
