Mightyena had lost Umbreon – and not for the first time! He and Mako could be sneaky buggers when they wanted to be, and whether that was because they wanted a rest from her incessant pestering or because they knew she liked to find them, was a fact only privy to them. Little Miss Mightyena couldn’t care less, she never really gave it much thought and instead relished the hunt until she found them once more. She had begun her search on the crossing before scoping out Tinuvel, Atlantis and Salem; none bore any evidence of Umbreon or Mako’s scents on the beaches and so she made her way to Luthien – Success!

Umbreon’s scent was strong, though that didn’t stop her exploring a little before she decided to find him. Finding Umbreon came a close second to rooting through the undergrowth on the outskirts of the thicket before finally crossing over into the forest – her nose still permanently stuck in the grass. It was here that another familiar scent caught her attention – did that mean Umbreon was here to visit Ragnfridr then?!

There was a thundering of hooves not far up ahead that drew Mightyena’s head up with a snap; what was all the commotion for; surely the leader of the herd wouldn’t throw Umbreon out when he was just there to see his step-daughter (or that’s what Mightyena thought anyway). She was going to give the bastard a piece of her mind, regardless of who he was! Adopting a brisk trot, she was upon them just as Ragnfridr backed off from Umbreon. The tiny mare’s head cocked sideways in confusion and she joined Umbreon’s side; bumping her forehead against his barrel as she stopped. ”Found you!” she exclaimed happily, before turning a little more serious (as serious as Mightyena can manage when unthreatened) "What’s all this then?"
