Evrona nodded to acknowledge Valencia(the other mare had to be Valencia, she realised), and found herself wondering how the cream mare felt about being stolen. Was she angry, like herself? Or anxious, or merely accepting? If she had any strong feelings on the matter, her expression and body language hid them well. She remained silent as they exchanged some words, not wanting to interfere directly. How a mare wanted to handle herself was her own business all of the time, of course, but she felt it was even more important to respect that in a situation such as this where her pride might already be smarting somewhat. Badr’s words confused her. So she was to return? But then why bring her here in the first place? Perhaps instead of questioning the situation she should simply be grateful and go home, but suspicion filled her. Who was Sterkte? She had never even heard of, much less met this other woman. Had she fought for her release? That was a pleasant thought, that she wasn’t so alone after all, but with not-so-pleasant implications. If she had been fought for, then why not Valencia too? It all seemed very strange to her. Given the cryptic answer he had just given to Valencia’s question she doubted that the stallion who had stolen her would be any more willing to answer her own questions. Especially if he had been bested in a battle, as he might feel embarrassed at the outcome. There was little point in asking him. “I will leave… However, what is to become of Valencia?” What she really wanted was to ask if she was alright, if she would be alright. She wanted to rage and scream and demand her release. It was a useless situation though. OOC: Sorry I took so long to reply. |
