Again, she turned and disappeared from the herd's view. She hated being around them. Some of the girls pranced around so happy go lucky that it made her sick while the others scowled at her because they thought they were better. None of them had any right. Pierce was one of Nik's first girls and she would not be pushed to the bottom of the totem pole. The angry mare had claimed him and gave him and everyone else a clear visual to remind them of it. She thought of the day she happily ripped out a chunk of his mane and smiled. Maybe it was time to see him again; to remind him that she was still here. For just a moment the bay perked up and turned toward the herd. She ran carefully and not as graceful as usual thanks to the new and different weight she had gained. Luckily for Nik, Pierce had been taking very good care of herself and looked better than she ever had. She made sure to wade in the ocean to rinse the mud off herself and you could now see the ivory stripe down her face.

Pierce arrived to the herd's main location and slowed to a stop to glance around. Some new girls and of course the old ones were still kickin'. With a snort the mare turned to look to the left and immediately caught Nik not too far off. It was a relief to see him, but not the mare that was accompanying him. It was the blonde that first showed up with the twins. What, did she think her and Nik were all lovey dovey and they had something special? Pierce pawed at the damp earth and charged toward the pair. She may be in foal, but she was still good ol Pierce. If not, worse tempered than usual.

"Nik. I thought i'd find you here. Hope you don't mind if I break up the love fest." she said strangely calm as she approached. Dark eyes glared the other mare down as she strolled closer to Nik. He was her play toy and she wasn't about to let another mare step in.
