It had been a long time now and she knew it. Tarrant had once upon a time come back and then, he had left again. It seemed though as rumor had it, that the great stallion was back again. Would he even still remember her? The grey tovero hadn't a clue but, she had to try right? She had to be with someone whom was familiar, it was the only way she could be happy. It wasn't right that she be destined to a lonely heart, it wasn't right at all. So, Ferrari set out to find him. She tracked his scent and it led to somewhere cooler than she was used to. This was not the shore, this was not the home that she remembered. It was where he was though and that spoke volumes for her.
Sighing quietly, the painted mare slowly made her way into his homeland. It was not him alone though, there was someone else with him. A son maybe? She didn't remember him having a son that had stuck with him. This was something different to her but, it wasn't a bad thing maybe. Clearing her thoughts of any confusion or mis-guidance, Ferrari called out for them. It was only right to bring them both forward. Though; it was Tarrant she was here to truly see. Hopefully he might recognize her. It had been several seasons but, it wasn't like she'd changed much over time. Older perhaps but, that only made her wiser right?
Always having been an intelligent woman, she found herself drawing back into her thoughts again. What had changed about him, what was it she'd been missing in his absence? True; she had been gone too but, she'd come back when she heard about Tarrant's return. It only seemed natural that she might see him again. There was no anger in her heart. Unlike other mares, she knew there had been something going on in the stallion's mind. She hadn't known what it was but, she'd seen the troubles of his heart in a way. He'd left to find himself perhaps, to travel. Ferrari didn't know again but, it didn't really matter now did it? They were both here and perhaps this meeting would go well. She was curious about the boy too. She didn't know his son. Nothing perhaps would come between the younger stallion and she save for a friendship but, that was okay. What she really wanted to do was reconnect with Tarrant. Was that such a bad thing to want? No, Ferrari didn't think so. Replies: There have been no replies.
