pine siskins have arrived

yesterday what i originally thought to be goldfinches were actually pine siskins; 7 more showed up this morning

then this afternoon, while working at the computer, a lot of noise was coming from the feeders - a flock of 22 evening grosbeaks had dropped by for a visit; will they return? i sure hope so
