Drive it like you stole it!

There was something peaceful about the Inlet, something that hadn't been there before. Maybe this was the chance that she'd been looking for? Not that his absence again had not troubled her and cast anger in her heart. She had appeared upon his doorstep again and what had Tarrant done? Well, he'd vanished into the night again. No real surprise. At least, it should not have been. She had wanted to have given him the benefit of the doubt though, that this time he might have stuck around. It seemed though that, his family liked doing this to their mares. She should be so angry and hate him, there is none of that now. More than anything, there is hurt and defeat. She's given up the fight for what she had once believed in. There is only existence now and the hope that she will at least have a home somewhere, perhaps here.

Watching as Solgar approached her now, Ferrari wondered about him. She knew nothing of this stallion and yet, she was going to give him a chance and stick around. It wasn't like she had anywhere to go really. This had been her home though briefly, it was something solid in a way. Ferrari, is it? Inquiring then if that was her proper name. A soft nicker leaves those lips of hers as she replies. You would be correct Solgar. She moved slightly on her hooves, shifting her weight then. She's taken note of their height and, that she is taller than him. This is not bothersome to her though. Height is not everything in the long run.

So, what is it you want with me? If you have questions before you make your decision, get 'em over and done with. Blunt and to the point wasn't he? Perhaps that was understandable though. After all, she was a mare from the brief; former herd. She was in his home now and, he did not know her really aside from a name. Is it so bad to want to stay Solgar? This was; is my home and, I would much rather remain here if that is quite all right with you. It was not demanding, it was merely a requests in a way.

Why should the mare have to leave if another moved in? Was it not better to stick to what was somewhat familiar to you? Ferrari was not sure what to expect but, she would stick things out for the long haul. This was after all, her home and she didn't want to go anywhere. I want to get to know you, I don't think that should be such a crime. She was not a young lamb anymore but then, that did not really matter. She was still strong and quite determined to survive in life.
