The duo seemed very kind and a little lost. Eli understood exactly where they were coming from and even felt bad because he was realizing how Constantine must have felt when he just up and left. The image of her came to mind and for a brief moment he got lost thinking about her feeling his heart ache for her again. Eli ached for everything he wanted desperately for his family to return and he hoped that soon his daughter, granddaughter and Midas would come visit since they were now neighbors. The thought brought a sad smile to his pale lips just as his ears moved listening to the young colts harsh tones
Instead of getting angry Eli watched as the mare scorned the young lad and even though the boy re stated his name was Soljor and not buddy it was more begrudgingly then sorrowful. Watching him intently Eli breathed calmly keeping a steady gaze. ”you remind me of my son you two are very much alike” nodding mostly to himself Eli turned his gaze to Talllynne who apologized and Eli shook his head dismissing it. He understood and thankfully she offered instead for them to walk up ahead. Eli had lived here before and already knew what she mentioned ”you’re right it is firmer” as he went to walk ahead he paused I actually use to live he..”
Bounding towards them a dark stallion had yelled No and put himself between Tallynne and himself. Eli was taken back for a second before he stared at the stallion who stood his height. The man’s features were stressed as he glared at Eli demanding that Eli leave. Confusion crossed his mind but he held his ground ”actually you’ll be leaving. Palm Tree Paradise is mine now” looking at the mare he had a thought that this must have been the stallion who left and was now returning. ”if this is your family and they wish to go with you they may” nodding to Tallynne Eli turned and side stepped away from the stallion and the mare breathing out. He really didn’t want this to end ugly but it was simple, ELI was Not leaving his home.
