 "Nice to meet you, Miss Ge-nn-a-o?" he looked at her, hoping he got her name right. He didn't want to make a bad impression. Especially on his first outing without his mother there to correct and cover for him. Oh yes, Vesti was very good at that. He was glad when she was there to make up for his mistakes. Because who wants to take responsibility for their mistakes anyway? Certainly not a foal - colts in particular. Though, this was likely just a phase and Vesti would force him to deal with the fall out eventually. Hopefully at least. Though, Vesti probably would need to have another child in order for her to successfully sever the ties between herself and Grai. But Grai knew none of this.
"Me? I'm here because these are my Father's lands," He said proudly. "And my Mother is asleep so I'm going to explore." He jumped a bit and then stopped. He looked at Gennaio. "Why are you here?" He cocked his head in that cute way a child does. Grai did not yet know the ways of a herd or much about being a stallion. But that is alright, because he is a child. If anything, it's comical. Of course, Grai does not realize how adorable he is. He likes to think of himself as tough. Strong. He wants his mother to stop worrying about him. He wants to go out and see things, go do things.
