Vivianna stood still as she watched him move closer until he brushed against her. Heat flared across her skin, spreading from where he had touched her until it reached her very core. Her eyes were watchful of him, keeping her composure even though all she wanted to do was step even closer. His voice was playful but enticing, pulling at strings that seemed attached to her that Vi didn’t even know she had.


When the stallion moved away, the mare felt chilled from where he had once stood and the desire to fill that chill with his warmth once more was nearly overwhelming. Yet as they walked the trails, Vivianna kept from touching him but allowed herself to walk just close even that they nearly were. It was a tempting thing she knew for him just as well for herself, but the female kept to her game and did not move any closer to fill that void.


“So confident of you to assume that it was you at all that brought me to this darkened place”


Vivianna casted her gaze up to the male as she spoke, giving him a fleeting smile before it again looking away. She peered through the trees, her eyes searching for all there was to be seen and yet the guardians of this land stood so close together it was hard to see much farther than outside of the very trail they walked upon. It was disappointing really as she had hoped that it had held more secrets than what she had seen so far. But her disappointment did not get to last very long as the trail suddenly gave way to the meadow and all of its delights to see.


Feeling a faint nudge upon her shoulder, she looked at him as he spoke before looking out again to the meadow. The fountain was the most delightful thing she had ever seen and soon enough her legs were guiding her closer before she was able to look down into her own reflection.


“These are the treasures in which I seek”


As she spoke, Vivianna turned her gaze up to the bubbling water that seeped from the massive rock.


“Such beauty in life to be found.”
