I tracked this down, its very good info. The mountain lion attacked turkeys at Mack Hill Farm in Wells, and was killed by their dogs. It had been after livestock in the general area the last couple of months. It was a juvenile mountain lion. The farm owner states ANR confirmed it was a juvenile mountain lion. They took the carcass and stated they would be doing DNA work. The fact that a juvenile is around is very significant. Residents in that area have apparently sighted adults in the past.
