I share your concern about the dogs.I have 2 Great Danes, one of which is a fawn so she looks JUST like a deer; their dinner! In fact, I've had many people slow down as they drive by and say to me "oh,we thought she was a deer".Fortunately I think she would have the sense to run the other way if she saw one.My male however is a different story!They both cornered a skunk the other night and after one spraying my female left it alone. My male seemed to want to play (either that or eat it!) so he went back for seconds....and thirds...!And he had a run in with a groundhog last summer.Anybody out there know any miracle cures for that skunk stink? Tried all the known ones and it didn't work.Thank goodness Thanksgiving is not at my house for a change!Good luck with your dog,Susan.
