Night had fallen, and the nutmeg stag had recalled his oath to meet the mother of two on the outskirts of the meadow. His stride was long and light. For a cob draft, his hefty frame could move quite easily with swiftness and lightness. Flicking his dreadlocks from one side of his flank to the other, his auds were cupped forward, and visionaries were alert, looking for the appaloosa mare. But when his gaze found the female he had been searching out, he was quite taken aback to find another like her, only a little bigger build. Confusion left him unsure of how to approach the two mares. He had thought Fayte and him were going to discuss some things in private… Not that he was resisting a new mare in his land, he just didn’t know what to do.
By scoping out the scene, Kieron could have guessed all this had just recently taken place within a few moments of arriving. He wasn’t sure though if these two mares knew each other or not and he sure did not feel like just barging in. So, Kieron moved closer, within plain sight to both mares, and waited patiently. He would feel so stupid waltzing in on the two mares. What was he going to say? Hi, my name is Kieron, welcome to the Forest. No, he would wait until he was invited. Yes, this was his territory and he should be wary of visitors, but at the same time, he was curious to see what was going to take place. He let both mares know that he was present, but far enough out of reach for normal hearing capabilities. Though, if he really wanted to, he could eaves drop. Depending on what the circumstances would unfold.
