Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

december is almost upon us! for the benefit of all players, i've put up some info about the christmas advent. older players as well as new please take note, because one or two things have changed.
from december 1st until 25th, little advent prizes will be hidden on boards all over the site, one a day. when you find the advent, you can post underneath it to claim the prize. this year, there is no limit to the number of players who can claim one prize, but you must claim it within 48 hours of its being posted.
the advents include points, doubloons, post enhancers and some bigger prizes! if you don't want to use a post enhancer straight away, it can go in your bank. if you don't want to use it at all, you can post it up on the trading post board and sell it for doubloons, so that you can buy other things you really do want.
if anyone is confused about the advents, just post your questions on the chat board!
