Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Rift shook his head, trying to clear the snow that had settled on his face. Now... how was he supposed to get back up, now that was the question. He grunted quietly, soft gusts of wind sweeping around him and the rocks that surrounded his small body. Oh... right. He had the Teleport blessing, ever since he was a little pup. That would make quick work of these dumb rocks... In fact, why hadn't he tried that in the first place? Just teleporting over the gap? Because now all he was left with was a bruised backside, and damaged pride. Though no one had seen him, right? Well... no use rushing now he supposed. It was still midday, he had time to get to the top of the mountain and back before sundown. Rift didn't want his momma to worry, after all. Alavera was no fun when she was worried.

And so, the wolf/husky mix turned around a few times to try and make a space in the snow for him to get comfortable. On his last revolution, he spotted something curious peeping out at him from behind the rock. His head tilted and he barked, scrambling over rocks and snow, to reach the seemingly disembodied head peering at him. Rift ran over, fur bristling. But as he neared, he saw that, indeed this femme did have a body.

"Oh. Phew. For a second there, I thought you were just a head. Sorry if I scared you. Did you see me fall?" Rift said quickly. The last question came as a sort of afterthought, if she was here, did that mean that she had seen him fall...? Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no. Please say no, pleaaaase say no... he thought, quietly begging. That would quite possibly be the worst thing ever.
