What was happening? It had all been fine before he... Before he had named the kit. He knew it must have triggered something. But what, he didn't know. Now, instead of Nalleya and Revillet and Acid Rain and the gang, now he was just floating in... Floating in he didn't know what. It was like a really long out-of-body experience. He could see himself in this swirling black and red mass of dream-like space. Then it came. Some sort of vision. Only for a second though. He had gone from what was real, to the swirling black and red stuff, to this one-second vision of... Of a pale-brown paw, claws unsheathed, slicing at his heart. Then there was blackness. Then he was back. Back in reality, from wherever he'd went. And Nalleya's voice, saying his name. "Uh... What?"
It all seemed so normal. Revillet and Acid Rain suckling at his mate, the den that they lived in, the bird tweeting outside. It all seemed so normal and peaceful. He figured that what he'd seen none of the others had, so it must relate to him only, or maybe to him most strongly. Whatever it had been, it surely couldn't be good.

Acid Rain mewed and rolled over, staring at his dad with his big green eyes. After a few heartbeats, he got a nagging thirst and rolled back over, dragging his tiny body to his mum, gladly getting help. He settled in nicely, replying to his brother with the same, a shove. He didn't notice the look of dread that was plastered on his dad's face and the tone of worry that emitted from his mum. Replies:
