Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The spirit couldn't tell by visual expression that the phoenix was displeased to see him, but the short reply with his name and the subtle movements where enough to inform the spirit that he was not what he was wanting to arrive on top of the mountain. He didn't let it bother him, he wasn't a social creature in the slightest, but he knew he had to say something, something that would catch the immortals attention and make him want to stick around and listen, perhaps even grant him a life blessing. If he didn't do it, no loss, but he would continue his search to find the blessing elsewhere, which would mean more time away from Cortana. Still this was a very good start.

"So Garuda," The brute started carefully, deep tones sounding flat and almost got lost in the winds, "I have the feeling I wasn't exactly what you had in mind for this day. Your kind do enjoy watching death, makes since I suppose given you never truly die yourselves. Must be convenient." He had to be as wily as his father, and charming. It made him sick to know that these skills he had gained from Knives would probably help him, but Blade had no choice. Perhaps it was why he was so quiet it was because when he did speak it reminded him so much of the power hungry canine that wanted to take control and destroy half the creatures of the mountain. To know he was nearly as good as him when it came to sliding into peoples’ minds, well... it disturbed him. Phoenixes though, would they be so easy to talk his way into? Appease simply with words and have no way to give any action? Somehow he figured this might end with disappointment.

"Back when I was living, I had quite a strand of death and destruction brought down by my fangs. They were good times." A small smile pulled at his lips, a real one brought on by the fond memories of fighting alongside of Cortana, but as fast as it snapped onto his maw it was gone. He missed her, and since he had died he hadn't felt her in his mind. It was strange having part of your mind taken away. “I would do any sort of thing to bring back that time. Perhaps give you some entertainment?” He wasn’t going to dance around, he knew Tanato, the Phoneix Cortana had dealt with, didn’t like beating around the bush. He had gotten impatient, but Blade knew that like wolves there were probably many different personalities and quirks for each Phoenix.
