Muse did take the time to consider her words, his tansanite gaze meeting hers solemnly, but he new he could not do what she said.
"You don't understand." He tried to say it gently, not meaning to hurt her feelings. "It's not about who I am and who she is, or how we differ. It's about who we are together, and what. We are one, Mystral and I. If I act against her, I break that. It would be a great loss for both of us." He really hoped she could understand. It saddened him that she didn't see it the way he did. He liked her, and he didn't want her to look down on him or consider him weak. Or, for that matter, to pity him in any way.

For all of Renzo's apparent enthusiasm, Mystral did not share the spirit of the game. She'd meant what she said. Riddles were too obvious, too overdone. For all that they were based on subtlety, there was none of it in the choice. Riddles, in her opinion, were a fall-back when someone wanted to play at being clever but couldn't come up with a more delicate approach.
But she would humor the leopard, and in so doing, perhaps prove her superiority.

"Where hear riddle of silly man and silly guns? Should use blessings," she said disdainfully. "No matter. Black shoots White first. White kills Black if Black kills Gray. If Black misses, maybe Gray shoot White."

Even if she failed to answer every puzzle correctly, it wouldn't spell total failure. Crafting a reason for Renzo to underestimate her could be just as useful as impressing him.
Mystral was adaptable. Whatever the circumstance, she would find a way to work with it.
