Curiousity? Was that why Giselle wound up in the desert? It was hard to say. The silver grullo mare mused at herself with a sense of humor; she had been out exploring and swimming. It is safe to say that venturing to an unfamiliar island alone was probably not the most ideal situation. Giselle wanted to gain knowledge of the Islands and perhaps putting herself out here like so was the most efficient way. Let’s not forget to mention it also got her adrenaline pumping, at times the silver grullo could be a little bit of a junkie – always searching for anything that brought her to the edge of her comfort zone.
By the time Giselle reached the edge of the Desert it was dusk, and while she ventured deeper into the territory it became night and the beautiful moon lit her path. The salt water and caused the silver grullo girl to become extremely thirsty and forced her to seek out fresh water. The wind brought Giselle to a small cluster of trees; she cautiously made her way to the welcoming cover of the shrubbery. The silver grullo abruptly halted with the scent of a mare and foal on the wind, her blue eyes and ears searched in the dark for them. The mare allowed a soft noise to leave her throat, wanting to eliminate the possible assumptions that she could be a predator.
“Hello?”
Giselle whispered, confirming if there was in fact someone out there. The mare’s body language spoke of no threat, surprisingly at ease for being in such a strange place. Giselle knew that had something to do with the fact no testosterone seemed to be present in this place.
