this morning a hoary redpoll showed up in the flock of about 45 common redpolls that has been coming to the feeders since late December

the evening grosbeaks continue to appear every morning; in the last week, the flock has ranged in number from a low of 15 to a high of 71 with the average being around 50

the pileated woodpecker female has been showing up on a daily basis

the male cardinal has been seen 3 times in the last 7 days but not since that brutal cold Sunday night
