During a weekend getaway in Franklin NH, back in 1993 women at B&B sited a mother lion and cub that walked along the edge of the forest and in the tree line in back of the B&B. When we were arriving it was just dark and the dirt road to get to the place was along a lake, several deer ran across the road into the woods in the same direction our host sighted the mother cat and cub.
