Winter,
As promised, since no one has stepped up to the plate, and since you seem to be the most naturally dominant, I elect you as lead mare.
This means, from now on, it is your responsibility to see to visitors, unless they are stallions and unless they ask for me specifically. It will also be your place to sort out petty disputes and keep the herd together as a group. If there is bad weather, you will be the one who decides where everyone shelters; if someone is acting inappropriately, you will be the one to dispense discipline.
However, determining who is and who is not a part of the herd will be left to me.
Do not think for a moment that you may use your position to disrespect others, particularly myself. If I feel you are abusing your position I will not hesitate to take it away from you.
