GUIDELINES

- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

left with no reason
we come undone
It didn’t take long for Boomslang to realize he was no longer alone. When a horse craves company, he is quick to recognize it when it arrives on his doorstep. The Crillo lifted his head, ears perked, and looked toward the source of the scent he’d caught a whiff of in his most recent indrawn breath. “You’re observant,” he replied with a broad smile as his eyes flicked up and down her lean body in two quick movements. She was red like the sunset behind his eyelids.

“This is the Prairie,” he said, mirroring her relaxed posture once he’d taken a few steps toward her so that he did not need to raise his voice quite so much. He was also longing to be physically near another horse, but he told himself it was just to ease the strain on his vocal chords. Maybe if he believed himself, she wouldn’t see how desperately he wanted to be in contact with another living creature. “But if you’re askin’ for somethin’ less specific, we’re also on the island called Luthien, I think. Somethin’ like that.” He nodded once to emphasize his words, then tipped his head toward her. “What brought you over this way?”
