There already are mountain lions in the adirondacks. According to the CT wildlife legend, the CT cat hit came through the adirondacks on its journey from South Dakota to CT. NY had never admitted to the presence in that state prior, but suddenly they said they had DNA of the same cat. There have been many sightings in northern NY.
